how to observe result or recived data sent NRF51822 development board to pc ?

Hello , i am going to use nrf51822 development kit ,but i am totally new for using it, i want to know that if i have development board and i want to see result but i dnt have my own application so may i see result on pc ??? And for that i neednrf dongole or anything or not ?

What protocol do you want to use? BLE? Do you want to send data over BLE from the nRF51 to a PC and see the data you sent on the PC?
