Connecting nrf52 without consuming UART on the CPU

I'm using the nrf52 for providing Bluetooth connectivity to an embedded board. My current perspective is that the nrf52 should physically be connected to the UART pins of the CPU.

However, doing this will consume the CPU's UART which is very important for accessing the boards.

Do you know for a workaround for this problem?

You are running a serialized application, using the nrf52 only for connectivity? If so, you can also use SPI. Take a look at the infocenter page Running a serialized application.
