Antenna Tuning for NRF52

Is there a whitepaper describing how to tune an antenna for the nrf52832? Can this be done with a VNA by connecting one leg to the ANT leg and one to the VSS? Following the solar beacon design, which of the inductors should be modified? Does the first one and cap used for some sort of a bandpass?

Yes, when doing the tuning, a VNA should be used. And yes, when connecting the device to the VNA, the inner leg should be connected to the ANT transmission line, right before the antenna matching network. The other leg should be connected ground.

Thank you, Kristin. Which of the proposed configuration (figure 12-16 in the white paper ) is actually implemented in the solar beacon? seems like there are more inductors that would be minimally needed by a PI network.

Oh. I think I got it. In the 52832 reference design the fist cap and coil are also there. I assume those are for the bandwidth filter?
