nRF51822 analog input while system off (power consumption)

Hi,

We are designing a system that shall supervise the battery voltage (1 AA cell) on an analog input to the nRF51822. Question is what happens when we put the processor in SYSTEM OFF? Will we experience a leakage current from the battery? What happens when the AA cell is close to 1.5V in SYSTEM OFF? Should the design disconnect the battery measurement while in SYSTEM OFF?

Hi,

The GPIO register is retained in SYSTEM OFF sleep mode. If the pin is set to input (high impedance), there should be no leakage current.
