why is zip for dfu in nrf Toolbox not selectabel

With nrf Toolbox 2.2.1 on android 6.0.1 (Google Nexus 7 or OnePlus 3T), I try to transfer an application firmware in a zip file UiBoardV0.4.1.zip, generated with "nrfutil version 0.3.0" from "nRfgo Studio" folder.

When selecting "distribution packet (ZIP)", I can see my archive in the file dialog, but the file is grayed out and is not selectable. All different file types are grayed out too.

When selecting "application" I can select the .bin and the .dat file (unpacked in a folder) and upload is working.

I am using SDK 11 with a nrf51822 on a custom board.

  • I have renamed the the file to UIBoard.zip and duplicated to UIBoard.ZIP. The files are downloaded to the download folder from Google drive. My file manager "Ghost Commander" shows the file and can open it to show the 3 files. If I chose the distribution packaged (ZIP) format, In the file dialog of the nRF Toolbox all files in my download folder are still grayed out. On my android devices Google Nexus 7 I have stock android 6.0.1 and on the Oneplus 3T with OxygenOS almost stock. What flavour of Android do you use? Is there a problem with the file extension filter from the DFU tool?
