sniffer for nRF52840 development kit?

I want to use the development kit for Bluetooth 5.0 IoT product development.

Is there packet sniffer software available for the nRF52840 development kit?

If yes, will this only see bluetooth communication from nordic devices or will it see traffic from any bluetooth device?

There is no connectivity firmware for the nRF52840 PDK that will work with the sniffer software. The official firmware will only run on nRF51x22 devices. There is a modified firmware for nRF52832 available here at DevZone, but that will not support any other features than the nRF51 version. The firmware and software will have to be modified to support the new S140 softdevice to support sniffing of packets with the new long-range and increased throughput modes of Bluetooth 5. I cannot comment on if, or when, this will be available. Such questions can be directed to your regional sales manager.
