BAL-NRF02D3 is a 50 ohm nominal input / conjugate match balun for nRF51x22 from ST. You can read more about the balun circuit in this answer.
Hi, I am interested in the same topic. Looking at the picture that you have drawn above, is it possible for my to solder an RF cable onto the antenna to tap some signals out for analysis. Since the antenna is a whole patch, can you show me which pin can I solder the signal and ground of the cable?
The beacon kit is not intended for such usage. You should get the nRF51 DK, where you can connect to the coaxial connector (J1) for RF measurements.
