Problem with nrfjprog and SEGGER JLink v6.12f

This is no a question, but i was not sure where to post it.

I was trying to use the nrfjprog command with the new version of SEGGER JLink, but the terminal output was "Violacion de segmento", in English something like Segment Violation.

Then I unistall that version and install the version 6.12a, that is a previous version and it is working,

do I make a mistake?, or do you have to repair it?

  • Hi,

This could be a bug with the 6.12f. Was it something special about the application you tried to flash? Do you have this problem if you try to flash some of the SDK examples? Are you using nrfjprog version 9.2.1? I tried to reproduce it with some of the examples in the SDK, but I’m unable to reproduce it. Also see this note. For nRF51 and nRF52832 it is recommended to use JLINK 5.12G.
