I am working on nRF51 and nRF52 series SoC. I need to check whether my radio device is connected or not and also to test radio functionality(like radio range, sensitivity). Is there any software tool available for this requirement.

You might want to take a look at this appnote

It shows you how you can use the DTM test application to test a link between two nRF51 boards.

Testing things like output power and sensitivity is not possible without expensive lab equipment, but you could run a test of your device towards a 'golden sample' (such as a devkit), and verify that the packet loss is acceptable.
