Documentation links obsolete

Hi, when developing I often use Google search to find documentation. I prefer using external search engines, since this includes results from StackOverflow and similar sites in additional to documentation from devzone.

However, for some reason results for old versions often show up high in the search results. For example, when searching "nrf over air update" the first result I get an answer that links to this document:

devzone.nordicsemi.com/.../a00021.html

A warning at the top of the page say this document is for version 5.2.

When clicking "Warning: This is old documentation, and should only be used for historic reference. Please go here to find the latest. " link at the top of the page I am expecting to find the latest documentation for how to do over air update. Instead I just get directed back to the devzone start page, not very helpful.

Is there a way to link to the latest version of the documentation?

thanks /Fredrik

  • I am aware of the infocenter, but this was not my question. I find the search tool on the invocenter much more difficult to use compared to google. I want to be know if there is a way to link between the documentation versions. For example in the case where a devzone answer refers to an old document, be able to link to newer versions without having to start searching from the beginning.
