Basic RF Test with NRF24lE1

I am working on nRF24LE1 boards. I am trying to talk between two boards. I have loaded "enhanced_shockburst_ptx_nrf24le1" and "enhanced_shockburst_prx_nrf24le1" on two different boards. But they are not communicating with each other, i have couple of questions in my mind:

1. How can i ensure myself that both boards are working properly?
2. Do i have to configure nRF boards or nRFgo starter kit before loading any program.
3. Is there anyway that i can see what is happening between two boards (LED or display).

Hi,

Both the PRX and PTX example assumes that you connect Port0 to LEDs or buttons. For PRX, connect P0DIR to LEDs For PTX, connect P0DIR to Buttons.

Now, if you press a button on the PTX side, the corresponding LED should light up on the PRX side.
