nrf51822 getting reset with SYSRESETREQ bit set

Hi,

I have written a code which transmits data over BLE. The board was getting reset. What we changed is instead of sending application data we sent the RESETREAS register data. When i decode it, it shows that SYSRESETREQ bit is set. What can be the reason of setting this bit. The board was not connected to any debugger or anything.

Hi,

A reset from AIRCR.SYSRESETREQ means a soft reset (NVIC_SystemReset()). This is the default action in the error handler when an error is passed in APP_ERROR_CHECK(). See this post on how to debug and find the error causing the reset.
