long connection with some phones

I have some problem with a specific phone. I try to connect with the nrf52832 using samsung S3 with android version 5.1, the connection takes 20 - 50 seconds and the first event that comes is the BLE_GAP_EVT_CONN_PARAM_UPDATE (after 20 - 50 seconds). After that everything seem ok. I assume that this connection parameters are remember so I forget the nrf52832 from the phone and same situation.

The sniffer indicates that the phone received BLE_GAP_EVT_CONN_PARAM_UPDATE, so the phone requested the connection update not the nrf52832.

I used nrf52 and softdevice 2.0.1

What SDK version are using ? What example/project in the SDK are you using? What is the values of MAX_CONN_INTERVAL and MIN_CONN_INTERVALin the project you are using?

You could try to lower the FIRST_CONN_PARAMS_UPDATE_DELAY or NEXT_CONN_PARAMS_UPDATE_DELAY.
