Nrf51 Dongle stopped working, getting "no response from master emulator" in MCP

I'm using MCP 3.1 and tried flashing the dongle from it multiple times. I also tried reinstalling MCP, but to no avail. When I flash some Blinky example using mbed it works, but I still can't use Bluetooth discovery functionality from MCP.

The crazy thing is: it worked before! It may be unrelated but the problem started after I bought and installed one of these SEGGER J-Link EDU things (again, this may be Post hoc ergo propter hoc fallacy).

Is my dongle already broken?

EDIT: I also tried doing "erase all" from nrfGo studio before the flashing in MCP

I had the same problem. Reinstalling MCP and running Erase All command in nRFgo studio and flashing the firmware using nRFgo studio solved the problem. Could you try this? The firmware can be found in the firmware directory of the MCP install directory.
