nrf51822 Sleep Mode power consumption >2mA

I am using nrf51822 with soft device s130.I used sd_app_evt_wait() to enter the sleep mode and i disabled all the peripherals before enabling sleep mode.According to the datasheet it was mentioned the module in sleep mode when peripherals are idle the current consumption will be 2.6uA but in my case its in the range of mA .Could someone suggest what I have to make changes to achieve the mentioned current consumption?

2 mA is way too much. What peripherals are left running when you enter sleep mode? I bet that one of high power consumption ones (UART/SPI/I2C/PWM/TIMER) is on.

Still in debug mode perhaps ??

PS. There are plenty of previous questions and answers to precisely this question. Have you checked to see that your question is not a duplicate

Thanks for the response. I am using UART,I2C and Timer. But before going into sleep mode I turn off all these peripheral.

Did you check that the device is not still in debug mode ?
