BLE5 GATT throughput

Hi,

I have noticed the new preview DK for NRF82840 is now available, and the new chip is running the new BLE5 spec. My understanding on the BLE v5 is the higher data rate, longer range and broadcast capability as compared to BLE v4.x. I wonder if this higher data rate will have any improvement on the GATT throughput speed when I switch to the 2MBPS (High throughput mode)? Thanks!

Thanks for the follow-up! You have been really helpful. I am transferring data to the PC via a custom BLE USB dongle, so the high speed will really help in my data transfer use case.
