nRF52832 cannot detect interrupt with short pulse

Hi there,

I am currently using nRF52832 to communicate with a digital sensor ship. The sensor chip generates an interrupt every time when data is ready to read via SPI.

However, nrf52832 cannot detect the pulses although they are clearly shown on an oscilloscope with frequency around 1k and duration about 10us. I have simulated the situation using a signal generator, and I found the pulse with less than 20us cannot be detected as an interrupt.

May I know what the issue might be?

I assume you are using the PORT event on the GPIOTE then? The PORT event is generated by the GPIO DETECT signal which is slower than using the GPIOTE pin event directly. Not being able to detect pulses of less than 20µs sounds reasonable with the use of PORT event.

You should try to use the GPIOTE in event instead. In the driver this is known as "hi accuracy mode"
