Hi,

I would like to comment that your documents and files are not arrange in the proper order. Kindly please give attention in order to arrange the documents and files.

I am having hard time to get know that what software I would need?

I have downloaded keil and I am getting following error message when I tried to open blinky_pca10040.uvprojx file.

Cannot install Pack(ARM:CMSIS:4.5.0), Pack not foundCannot install Pack(NordicSemiconductor:nRF_DeviceFamilyPack), Pack not foundCannot install Pack(NordicSemiconductor:nRF_DeviceFamilyPack:8.11.1), Pack not found

Kindly, show me some way to fix the problem and install all required software to make my self ready to develop the code.

What version of ARM:CMSIS is installed? (click the + sign where ARM::CMSIS is)

You could also try to manually install the pack. You can download it from here. Download the ARM.CMSIS.4.5.0.pack 97.3 MB.

Yes, it is now working. However, this guidelines should be available in your user guide or some documents.

Can you explain about overall program flow? I mean if we have ble_uart project so how different files in that project are linked together?

Is there any simple example which tells about creating a new project or simple program ?

I recommend taking a look at the tutorial section here. For new projects, you should start with the template example in SDK_folder\examples\ble_peripheral\ble_app_template.
