nRF5 SDK ver. 12.2: 0xC0000142 error

I am using ARM-GCC (version 6.2 2016q4) toolchain and make command to compile example code.

I have updated my compiler installation path in Makefile.Windows as well.

Same path is used in SDK version 11 and the code compiles without any issue.

When I try to compile ble_app_hrs, I get a dialog box stating -

followed by

I would like to know if there is any other setting that has to be changed in the system environment.

I'm not a 100% sure it's a path issue, but add

SHELL=C:/Windows/System32/cmd.exe

to your Makefile.windows and try again.
