ota: how to update bootloader

Hi,

in nrf connect app i see it is possible to update bootloader over ota. How do i generate ota file properly? I tried generating zip and hex but the app says "no matching files"

Extract the contents of zip file to obtain .bin and *.bat * files. Try updating using these files.

no it doesnt work. It also asks if i want to select the init data packet. Is the command for generating the file correct?

When it asks for data packet, do you accept it and add the .dat file?

One other solution that you can try is to generate a single file that includes dfu along with the application. This provision is available and can be enabled by choosing both --application and --bootloader in the genpkg command.

i tried all options, it doesnt work.

I use SDK11. Updating only application over ota works fine.
