Beacon scenario

Hi,

I wanted to know that if I have e.g. 10 beacons placed in the super market. Let say I am in the meat section and there are three beacons among which I am close to one and little bit far from other.

Is it possible to find out based on RSSI values that I am exactly close to one beacon not to other two. Although I am getting signals from all three beacons.

Is it possible to measure distance between the beacon in such scenario ?

In general yes. The question is "how accurate you can get" and the answer to that is worth a book and several million USD business;)

You can increasy accuracy by something like: room with lots of beacons in defined positions with quite low advertising interval and low power. Then you scan it and you know the position quite accuratly. You are welcome, you just saved thousands of dollar worth research :D May i send you my paypal address? About companies - yes, there is ex. estimote. Their locating ability is quite poor in my opinion however, but still... You can make them offer so they will share algorithms with You.
