ZigBee stack development or simalar on nRF52?

Hi All,

I'm currently developing a network where I would like to use nRF52 SoC. The nodes in the network must be able to extend to over 100 and must be able to multi-hop in a mesh topology. I initially though I can use ZigBee to accomplish my network topology goals, but after reading some posts, I understand that one must develop the ZigBee stack on top of the first two layers of the 802.15.4 standard. Is there any support to accomplish this?

Alternatively, is there perhaps any other wireless technologies such as ANT or Thread which nRF52 supports that perform multi-hop mesh networking (similar to ZigBee)?

Any guidelines will be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks,

Roger
