How do I initiate UART for two way communication on the nRF52832 ?

I am a first time user and have very little idea about how to initialize UART. I have not used developer kits before and i am having a difficult time with it. I am on a deadline.

I am using the nRF52832 developer kit and i tried to make the UART/Serial port emulation over BLE (infocenter.nordicsemi.com/index.jsp work, except I do not know what I am doing wrong because I cannot see the"UART Start" text on putty or termite.

How do i make this work ?

Hi,

In SDK 13-alpha, the logging module is not enabled by default. You therefore need to make sure that NRF_LOG_ENABLED is 1 in sdk_config.h. Note that you can edit sdk_config.h using the configuration wizard. Also note that SDK 13 is now out of alpha, and can be downloaded here. In SDK 13 logging is enabled by default.
