Is A2DP available with nRF52840 ? Or will it be delivered in 2017 ? Or is there any implementation of A2DP for nRF52840 elsewhere ?
Thanks, Michel

No, Bluetooth Low Energy is completely different from Bluetooth Classic, and you will not be able to implement A2DP profile. You would not be able to communicate with any Bluetooth Classic devices supporting A2DP.
I'm not sure of the details of what audio streaming support the device in the news article is using, but as far as I know, all audio over Bluetooth Low Energy available today is proprietary solutions. Bluetooth SIG have not released any standards specifying audio over BTLE yet.
Audio over BTLE will not be compatible with Blutooth Classic devices, this use different packets and profiles not supported in BTLE.
Please have a look at this and this answer. We do have some audio capabilities in the Smart Remote 3 reference design. Some more details can be found in this thread.
