Notification of Advertising Events

I have an application where I'd like to change the advertising content every time it is transmitted. Is there any callback from the SD after transmission of advertising data.

The previously recommended approach to this was to use radio notification. However in this application I have non-connectable advertising running while the device is in an active connection. I only want the advertising data to be updated after advertising frames have been sent, not after any frames relating to whatever might be going on with the active connection.

Any suggestions?

If you run other radio activity than advertising (e.g. some connection) then you will need to use timer and carefully synchronize it with adv. interval (remember that adv. interval has mandatory jitter added by Soft Device so in the end it's good to periodically re-sync by radio_notification or other method).

Hi Endnode, I'm also interested in the synchronization my application with advertising packet transmission. How to apply your solution : how to access the advertising timer ? or enable a radio notification filter on just the adv packets ?
