Is there a programmatic interface (API) for nRFgo Studio

Hi

We have used DTM functionality in nRFgo Studio to carry out signal strength testing during the design stage. We now want to automated this testing in end-of-line testing on the production line. Is there a programmatic interface (API) that can be used for a production test program developed for a PC?

You could probably reverse engineer the needed commands by capturing what nRFgo Studio is sending as commands to the DUT and then implement the same command pattern in your program.

Why you don't run DTM natively over UART? You can use anything for that (e.g. Python scripts on top of serial line interface which should work pretty much on any OS)... or you use something more then DTM?

It is worth noting that we don't have direct access to the R&D department, they have simply stated what needs to be done which is:

• Run nRFgo Studio and select the Direct Test Mode from the features selection on the left.
• Select the appropriate Com port for the USB to 3V3 TTL serial adapter
• In the mode box select Transmit
• In the Channel box select Single.
• Set the Channel to 0
• Select payload model as constant carrier
• Click start test.

So what I need to do is automate this process on a limited buget and timeframe.
