Loading Soft device on custom board

What are different options to load the soft device on custom board? Currently, I am using nRFGoStudio to load the softdevice on nRF52840 DK. We will not have segger hardware on our custom board,but we will have SWD interface. We use IAR for development.

Is it possible to use IAR's I-Jet to load the softdevice? What are the other options?

Why you just don't connect debug-out port (P19 or P20) from nRF5x DK to SWD pins of your custom board and develop the same way as today?

I am having similar problem. Yes I am able to download simple blinky program on my custom board. Custom board is interfaced with nRF52-DK through P19. It is working fine. Now I want to download ble_blinky example. For this I need to download softdevice S112 first but I am not finding option to download softdevice.
