NRF8002 iBeacon

Can the nrf8002 be used as an iBeacon. I read somewhere that the nRF8001 cannot. Just checking on the model above that.

Hi,

Unfortunately the nRF8002 does not support iBeacon. The nRF800x series has a characteristic value length limit of 20 bytes, while iBeacon requires more. The nRF8002 has other limitations as well as it is a proximity specific chip.
