CE Technical questions

We are applying the CE certifcate for a product using nRF51822 and softdevice S130. Certification lab requires us to fill in below techanical questions. Please help to answer.

1. The Channel Occupancy Time implemented by the equipment: xx ms

2. The equipment has implemented an LBT based DAA mechanism. Yes/No?

   a. The equipment is Frame Based equipment. Yes/No?

   b. The equipment is Load Based equipment. Yes/No?

   c. The equipment can switch dynamically between Frame Based and Load Based equipment. Yes/NO?

   d. The CCA time implemented by the equipment: xx us

3. The equipment has implemented an non-LBT based DAA mechanism.Yes/No?

4. The equipment can operate in moer than one adaptive mode. Yes/No?

Hi Fiske,

As far as I can see these questions are related to Annex E of the ETSI EN 300 328, which the test house requests that you provide, correct? All questions then are given under subsection "d) In case of adaptive equipment", which is not relevant as you should declare it as "non-adaptive equipment" in subsection c).

You can therefore skip subsection d) and proceed to e) instead. (Here the maximum RF Output Power is 4 dBm and the maximum (corresponding) duty cycle is 10 %)
