16-bit service UUIDs?

I have noted that Nordic now has 0xFEE4 and 0xFEE5 as registered 16-bit service UUIDs, any chance one of those is a short alias for the Nordic serial service?

Hi,

These UUIDs are currently not used for any services, they are reserved for future use. Nordic UART service (NUS) is still using the 128-bit UUID described here. I'm not aware of any plans to reduce this to 16-bit, as this would cause incompatibility with existing NUS devices.
