nRF8001 Bursts of 8 on RDYn pin

Hi,

I hooked up an nRF8001 (Olimex) to my logic analyzer and am observing the behaviour of the RDYn pin.

After resetting the nRF8001 through the RESET pin, the RDYn pin goes high as expected, and then goes low a little later to send a DeviceStarted event to the Netduino. I read the event through the ACI interface by clocking the SPI pins with a low MOSI pin. After receiving the event and doing nothing, the nRF8001 seems to give me bursts of 8 events (which I all read through the ACI bus from the app controller but discard) with a length of two with two 0x00 bytes in the payload and an interval of about 26 ms between the bursts.

Do you have the RDYN line set as a INPUT with pullup ? Make sure that you have pulled the REQN line high as soon as the SPI message has been clocked out. Would be good to see the REQN, RDYN and the SPI lines in the analyzer trace.
