nRF Connect v2.0 problems with Avast Anti-virus?

I've tried to install nRF Connect v2.0 on both Win 7 and Win 10 systems, both running Avast Anti-virus (up to date). In both cases the antivirus gives a warning about IDP.ALEXA.51 and seems to want to quarantine the Command Line Tools 9.6.0 Installer.
If I tell the AV to ignore the warning during install then the first time I run the program it again triggers with the IDP.ALEXA.51 warning. The program will open, but I cannot communicate with known good dongles. Anyone else seen this issue?

Complain to the Antivirus vendor about the false positive or just deinstall this snake oil software.

The nRF Connect installer comes bundled with the nRF Command Line Tools 9.6.0 installer. Do you get the same warnings if you uninstall nRF Command Line Tools, and then download and run the nRF Command Line Tools installer from the Nordic Semiconductor website? Hi Magne, yes, nRF Command Line Tools 9.6.0 installer also triggers the same warning in Avast. If I exclude the installer within Avast, then the program installs and operates correctly. I will report this as a False Positive to Avast. Thanks
