Is BT 5.0 long range option programmable dynamically?

Hello - Is the long range option programmable in BT 5.0? During the run time, is it possible to switch between high speed and long range mode dynamically depending on the link quality?

Will the stack automatically do this or is the application responsible to perform dynamic switching of data rates/Long range option?

Do you have any examples of this kind of dynamic data rate change

Yes, it is possible.

The stack will not automatically do this, the application has to do it.

Advertisement in longrange option is not currently supported in the alpha release of S140 stack. Will it be supported in the production release?
