dfu in application

Hello

I am wondering if there is example where dfu is implemented within application and bootloader is only coping image from flash bank to application space. My companys product need to be running during OTA which last ~2mins. I know that bootloader offers dual bank so I assume it is possible.

Hi Michal,

we do not currently have an example that implements Background/Trickle DFU. However, we plan to implement this and add it in a future SDK release, but I can not give any guarantees or estimated release date.

I know that there are customers that have made custom implementations, so it is definitly possible, but as far as I know none of these implementations has been shared here on DevZone.

do you have any links to that implementations or how to find examples especially about usb dfu in application?

Hi twittich, 

do you mean performing a Device Firmware Update of the application on a nRF5xxxx through from a PC through UBS? Or is it another embedded processor or nRF5xxxx that transfer the DFU image over USB ?
