Application is not started after hard reset, pca10040, s132

Hi,

I am using pca10040 board with s132 softdevice. I have integrated BLE_APP_UART service with BLE_APP_MULTIROLE_LESC example. The device will start advertising when command is sent through hardware UART.

I am getting "APP_ERROR: ERROR_FATAL" while flashing the softdevice and application. After softreset, the application is running properly. I verified it by sending command via UART after which device starts advertising.

And then I did hard reset, application has not started running. There is no response from the device for the commands sent. What will be the possible issue/reason for this? Help me to solve this issue.

Additional observation to the above issue, We are doing power on reset i.e. switching of the entire power to the device and then powered on, then sent command to advertise via uart. Device was not advertising. After that, we pressed reset button and sent the command for advertising, device started advertising. After every poweron reset, is it mandatory to press reset button? I am confused with the observation as both do hard reset the chip.
