If you are mentioning a "Friend" node as in the Bluetooth Mesh SDK. I do not think it is available in the current release 0.9.x but will be released as part of the roadmap. That stated, it is already possible to integrate energy harvesting switches and other low power devices on Mesh nodes using regular BTLE or BTLE (long range).
