How to put nrf51822-mkit in low power consumption

I've tried adding in the examples (heart rate by example) the:

sd_app_evt_wait();

(including #include "nrf_soc.h" and #include "nrf_sdm.h")

Disabling led, etc. And power doesn't go under 1mA.

What else is needed?

I've reset the module after programming, so the 1mA isn't debug related.

Also advertising name is n/a instead of mbed.

I think that something prevents stay in LF clock. I put in the while(1) a gpio on/off and I see the led blinking 5-10 times/second. When calling sd_app_evt_wait() mcu must enter in low power at 32768Hz until a event wakes the mcu.

I've seen in project_config.h

define CFG_DEBUG (2) And changed to define CFG_DEBUG (0) But nothing improves. After resetting power remains in 0.8mA.

Hi,

The ~1 mA current consumption indicates that the 16M clocktree is running while you're in sleep. Most likely, it's the UART which causes the high current consumption. LEDs toggling will also have an great impact.

The current mbed projects are not made with focus on power consumption, which is also reflected in the wait-functions in main.

Hi, I've tested without uart (Serial commented) and without Led. Power is about 0.7mA. Sw4 off.

Any other recomendation?
