As per my requirement I want to develop a device that would be capable of sending & receiving data to & from a web server & at any point of time multiple devices will be connected to the server & the server would broadcast message that would contain information of the node for which the message is meant for, the desired node will identify the information & receive the message from server all other node will just ignore the message. . This is the reason i need a SOC with inbuilt WiFi module.
I am searching for a SOC that would have an inbuilt WiFi module, So that I can port an TC/IP stack on it & use it as a WiFi client. I would also b needing the evaluation board of the SOC so that I can perform my initial stage of development on it & once the POC is full-proof I would then go with the standalone SOC to build our customized PCB. I have gone through the specification of Nrf51 & Nrf52 series controllers, they have a 2.4GHz radio module but I thing the physical layer is only cable of generating Bluetooth Frames & not WiFi frames(please correct me if I am wrong).
Kindly suggest me multiple SOCs so that I can compare their capabilities & choose the one best suited to my requirement. Please feel free to give your comments on the same & please resolve my issue asap as I need to meet a deadline.
