nrf Sniffer, is there a way to define "unknowns"?

218 3.275409 Slave Master ATT 40 Rcvd Find Information Response, Handle: 0x0014 (Unknown: Unknown: Client Characteristic Configuration), Handle: 0x0015 (Unknown: Unknown: Characteristic User Description)

Is there a way I can add in definitions for the "unknown" characteristics, handles, services, etc? It would make the logs a LOT easier to read!

  • In the Nordicsemi sniffer release for WS 1.10.x, we released 2 dissectors (nordic_ble and btle), the btle dissector has since been fully moved into WS. This (btle dissector) is the dissector that is showing you the UNKNOWN. The btle dissector is owned by the WS community and you are better helped in their forums. You should switch to WS 2.4.x if you want to see what the WS community has decided about the "UNKNOWN" and this is not in Nordicsemi control.

See this answer to use WS 2.4.x with the Nordicsemi sniffer firmware .
