changing DEVICE NAME in nrf51822

hello, i am having development board.in that i am doing the following things:

1. programming soft-device hex file 2)programming proximity hex file in proximity code if i am changing DEVICE NAME..then its getting changed and seen in master control panel but when i am doing editing DEVICE NAME in IBEACON code and loading it in to nrf51822 development board i am not getting DEVICE NAME which i have put.

Hi,

In the iBeacon exemple, device name field is not transmit on advertisment data.

See "advertising_init" function. Be careful to respect iBeacon spec,if name field is not transmit, maybe there is a reason...( apple spec)
