nRF51822 Difference between S120 and S110

Hello,

Actually, I am evaluating the nRF51822 using the EK. I have some questions as follows:

1- Is the S120 an enhanced version of the S110, and what is the real difference between them? 2- Should we use privilege the S120 for future designs? 3- What about the availability of the 130 SoftDevice, can I use it for a WSN deployment? 4- How can I flash an off-board nRF51822 SoC?

S120 permits to set up a central, S110 permits to set up a peripheral.

1. As Sébastien points out the S120 is a central stack, while the S110 is a peripheral stack.
2. Not sure what you mean...
3. This would most likely be possible, don't know about availability. I suggest you contact on of our sales managers for this.
4. You can use a programmer from e.g. Elnec or HILO.
