S120, possible to know which scan channel?

Hello,

Does the S120 have support to know on which advertising channel it received an advertisment? Or some kind of feedback to know on which channel the S120 device is scanning? I can see it on the oscilloscope on which channel it has scanned(see attachment: s110 device(yellow) sending on ch37,38 and 39 and s120 device(red) in this case receives on ch39), but i need some feedback in my software, is this possible?

There is an Observer implemented with the timeslot API with the S110 SoftDevice v7.0, this provides information on which channel an received advertisement was present. You should be able to modify this example to provide feedback to the application on the channel the radio has scanned.

Hey, I was wondering for what reason the channel info is not included in the SDK (in ble_gap_addr_t).

As I suggested earlier the Oberver implemented with the TimeSlot API is the best way to get this (this is also available with the S130). I will pass on the request to the development team.

Thanks! I was already looking at the Observer, but I just wondered why it wasn't in the SDK :)
