Mobile location application based on 3++ nRF beacons

Hey

Would 3++ nRF51822 bluetooth smart beacon Kit sense in location application where lets say 2 beacons are quite close by (half meter) and third, the locatable beacon, are from 5 to 50 m away? This application would be for indoor/ outdoor crowded events for group of people. Im planning to use your beacons in hackatron: http://www.tehnohack.ee/en/ In future maybe to implement your product on factory floor.

rssi values alone will not give you a very reliable distance indicator. If you can compliment the rssi values with a detailed floor map (with room and pathway objects) then you may be able to provide a better tracking solution.

There will be probably no stationary beacons in the system for a start and no floor plan. Is this concept viable?
