Driving speaker through PWM

Hi, I am working on ble_app_uart_c central code provided in sdk12.3.0 with softdevice s130.I added pwm code provided in peripheral examples in ble_app_uart_c central code,my code is working but I am not getting proper tone.I have set the frequency at 4KHZ.Can anyone suggest how to get the proper tone?

What do you mean you do not get a proper tone? A square wave generated by PWM contains many harmonics in addition to the fundamental frequency (which in this case is 4kHz). The speaker itself will function as a low pass filter, but you may need additional filtering to get a clean tone.
