Only large 52840 7x7mm device supports Bluetooth 5.0 Long Range?

As I understand it only the largest physical chip, 7x7mm nrf52840 , supports Bluetooth 5.0 long range. Is this correct?

It seems as if Nordic Semiconductor is abandoning space constrained device developers who are looking for ALL of the Bluetooth 5.0 features including long range, not just a PARTIAL Bluetooth 5.0 support as in the nrf52832. I realize more features are being incorporated into the nRF52840.

However, I am concerned Nordic might be abandoning the core requirement, BLUETOOTH, by no longer offering small, efficient, advanced devices supporting all of the features of Bluetooth 5.0. Any possibility of future WLCSP nrf52840 packages with limited pins?

Unfortunately, I have to make a decision where to invest my development time and I am less likely to invest it in a future without Bluetooth 5.0 Long Range and small physical IC packages.
