I want to use the Nordic UART/Serial Port Emulation over BLE to communicate to a windows or linux host computer.
I see Andriod and IOS haveapps available to support Nordic UART.
Is windows or linux support available for the Nordic UART?

Windows support is provided by the nRF UART PC application, this is installed with the master control panel and is part of the master emulator API. There is no linux support that I am aware of.
Master Control panel also known as MCP 32 bit version Windows
Master Control panel also known as MCP 64 bit version Windows
Edited to add the links to Master Control Panel and the location of the Master Emulator API
great question and answer. This PC nRFUart example + the nRF51 USB dongle has completely unlocked BLE development and testing for us. All our test environment runs on Windows 7 and now we can add BLE test functionality to it. Thank you so much.
