Does the MBR use magic numbers in the Storage Parameters Page?

Hi,

I have just added over the mesh bootloader updates for my mesh and I am curious about the MBR parameter page. I want to use that page as a swap page in my application but I do not know in which format the MBR saves its parameters. Does it use a magic number / crc check to detect if the flash settings are valid MBR parameters?

One more thing: Is some part of the MBR still used as scratch space or is it untouched in the latest MBR that comes with S132 v5?

Hi Marius, I apologize for the late reply. Q1: Yes, I beleive that we write at least one magic number to the MBR params page to indicate the validity of the data on the flash page. Q2: No, it only uses the MBR params page to store data.
