RNG with S210 SoftDevice

Hello,

I'm trying to get the random number generator working while using the S210 SoftDevice. Following the rng example, I've gotten it to work without the SoftDevice, but when the SoftDevice is loaded, it no longer works. Any suggestions?

Hi,

The RNG is a restricted peripheral, as shown in the S210 softdevice specification. This means that you need to call the nrf_soc api in order to use it. Please see this thread for more info: devzone.nordicsemi.com/.../random-pool-numbers-documentation
