What directory is the BLE mesh example app hex file in?

I want to flash a client and three servers with the BLE mesh simple light switch example:

infocenter.nordicsemi.com/index.jsp

The third instruction on the above web page says to flash the device with the application hex file

3 . Program the application itself. The application HEX files can be found in the build/examples directory, in a separate folder for each example.

I do not see any file with a .hex extension in the directory specified in the quoted instruction.

What directory is the hex file located in, specifically for the light switch example?

You can find the Mesh SDK here. Then, you need to remember to follow all of the instructions under How To Run & Build Examples. If I were you, I would use Segger Embedded Studio, as Nordic provides a free license key & support. Once you follow all of the instructions, Segger Embedded Studio will make a build folder, where you can then locate the hex file.
