Will dongle f/w updated by nRF-Connect still work as sniffer?

I just installed nRF-Connect on Windows to be used with the USB-dongle. It now wants to update the dongle f/w. So far I have used the dongle with ble-sniffer_win_1.0.1_1111_Sniffer.

Q: Will the f/w update still work with the sniffer, or will I lose that function?

These two FWs are exclusive but you can flash any of these any time. If you want to use it as Master Control Panel/nRF Connect you need to flash it with particular FW and if you want to use it a sniffer then use different FW.

What do you mean? If everyone would expect to put all functionality in the world into single FW it would never fit into any chip;) So you need to take these 60 seconds to reflash or invest $40 to second board;)
